Terms of Service

1. The service

TableTap helps groups keep track of drinks, items, rounds, and shared spending at the table.

TableTap is a tracking tool only. It does not process payments, transfer money, or sell goods or services.

The bill issued by a venue is always the authoritative record of what is owed.

2. Using TableTap

TableTap is designed to work without user accounts.

We may introduce optional account-based features in the future, such as cross-device history or saved tables. If we do, additional terms may apply to those features.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TableTap in violation of applicable laws or the rights of others.
• Scrape, mass-download, or otherwise interfere with the service.
• Attempt to bypass, reverse-engineer, compromise, or disrupt TableTap's security or operation.
• Resell, redistribute, or expose TableTap or its data to third parties without permission.

4. Totals and settlements

Prices are optional and any totals, balances, or settlement calculations displayed by TableTap are provided solely as an aid for splitting shared spending.

They are not invoices, accounting records, or legally binding financial statements.

Users remain responsible for verifying their own orders, spending, and payments. The venue's bill always takes precedence over information shown in the app.

5. Responsible use

TableTap is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction.

TableTap does not provide medical, financial, or legal advice. It is a tool for tracking shared spending and participation at a table.

Please drink responsibly and know your limits.

6. Pricing

The core TableTap experience is provided free of charge.

We may introduce optional paid features in the future. Any paid feature will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

Purchases made through third-party stores, including the App Store or Google Play, are subject to the terms and policies of those stores.

7. Intellectual property

The TableTap name, logo, software, design, and related content are owned by Studio81 Labs s.r.o. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use TableTap for your own non-commercial use.

8. Ending your use of the service

You may leave a table or stop using TableTap at any time.

Removing local browser data or disconnecting a device removes only the local copy stored on that device. Table history may remain available to other participants.

You may request deletion of server-side data using the contact details provided below.

We may suspend or restrict access to the service if its use violates these Terms or threatens the service, infrastructure, or other users.

9. Disclaimers

TableTap is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of entries, balances, settlements, or calculations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio81 Labs s.r.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to the use of TableTap.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 50 if no payment has been made.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be reflected on this page together with an updated revision date.
